I came to Jesus so late in life that I haven't had a chance to revert back to the ways that predated Him in my life. I can't imagine that I ever will, I think that a regular diet of bible study, listening to sermons, participation in small groups, prayer, and informal conversation with Christian friends and family all help to keep a person focused on the changes that Jesus has brought....to the world and to each of us.
I didn't have much to compare before coming to Jesus at 6 years old, but I did have something to compare with after wandering away from the Lord for about 3 years, when I was 18. But God did not abandon me. He followed me like the hound of heaven with too many coincidences happening that showed me that He was real and His arms were open and beckoning to me. After delving into the philosophies of the world (Lies from Hell) and experiencing the emptiness, futility and insanity of a life without God, I ran back into the arms of my Saviour with a determination to never leave the Lord again.

3 years? Wow.....you were a MUCH faster learner than I. ;-)
