Your image of "peace within the storm" reminded me of Jesus's walking on the water and then calming the storm that was raging over the Sea of Galilee. I'll take that imagery one step further and propose that sometimes the peace we find in Jesus can actually be used to calm the particular storm we might be experiencing.
A very encouraging word Heidi. The struggles of this life can be so strong against us and can seem overwhelming at times, but the Holy Spirit is our Strength, our Fortress, our Hightower and our Comforter in the midst of it all. The forces of darkness hope that we give up the fight, but we are not alone. We have the Spirit of God standing with us.

My humanness shows when I can barely get through the day by only crossing one thing off from my list. But the Holy Spirit always shows up when it is something that glorifies Him. He shows up teaching and reminding everything He has said to me. I’ve gotten done with days thinking, “how was that even possible? How did I get all that done?”
God is bigger than my doubts and all the caffeinated drinks one can consume in a day. 🩷
