So true! Contentment is truly a gift and so is the hunger for God. The hunger of the world never satisfies. It always leaves us wanting more "anxiously". Whereas, hunger for God transforms our minds from the inside out.

In 32, Jesus says, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about. 34 My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work

This passage of scripture is such a loaded one. So much is going on in it! First off, I love that Jesus in this passage is not only reaching out to non Jewish people but, also elevating women all in the same moment. Which in his time was revolutionary!

However, the verses that stand out to me the most were verses 23 and 24. "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

God isn't concerned with outward appearances and lofty gestures of worship.(i.e. pretty buildings, or statues.) Or even what we can offer him. He desires men and women who have sincere hearts that can be honest with him in addressing his spirit with ours.
